Fifty Caliber Ban
- This Bill would Ban/Restrict the sale and possession of 50
Caliber BMG rifles.
SB1140 (Scott)
Firearm Storage Penalty Increase - This bill would make
criminal storage of a firearm of the 3rd degree punishable by imprisonment
in a county jail not exceeding 6 months, by a fine not exceeding $1,000.
SB1152 (Scott) Ammunition Sales Registration & Fingerprinting Scheme - Would require any person engaged in the retail sale of ammunition to record the date, name, address, date of birth, and thumbprint of the tranferee, and to make the information available to peace officers. STATUS: On the Assembly Floor – OPPOSE
